Birdie hanger for keys

I made this for a friend,who asked if I would make one.
I had a choice of pig or bird theme and chose the easier option of the two! I painted the background in white (two layers) cut out the birds, watercolour sky wash and water coloured the leaves and branches and then added some pen work to define them. Hope she likes it.

Have been on a mission and making chunky charm bracelets

Have been really busy in my garage and having lots of messy fun creating new things, I feel so sorry for my family as I am always in the garage!!!!

Have been making chunky charm bracelets and doing painting techniques on boards covered in material.

Take one piece of recycled wood

And I decided that this piece was going to be a plaque.

This is the finished version. 12"x11" ply board with lots of tecniques used, I really enjoyed doing this one.

A few creative items

Large block key hanger

This is a 4 x 4 inch block of wood, it has been sanded,painted,distressed,collaged,stamped and had embellishments added.

I really enjoyed creating this and was up till silly hours,making a right mess in my garage.

Have another block of wood left over,so watch this space!

Very time consuming

   Here are a couple of pieces I made last week from recycled beads and bits.

Well......have just spent ages going through fellow crafty friends blogs and adding them to my own...............Hmmm I had forgotten just how much time, this blogging takes! I also need lessons in how to add gadgets and the like. Right back to it.

This on is a ceramic tile, created using alchol inks,

stamped image, glitter glue,two drilled holes and coloured wire and varnish.

A new blog

Good morning people, well now..... after trying to get into my old blog and failing on numerous accounts, I decided I should just start a new one! I have promised myself to at least, blog once per week and if I am lucky enough, more than once per week!

Well I am off to sort out some photo's for my first entry to my new blog.
